Privacy
The short version
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is stored or sent to us until you explicitly ask for an adviser to call, or ask us to remind you before your rate expires. No account, no sign-up, no tracking of your numbers. This is architectural, not a promise we could quietly break — there is nowhere for your inputs to go until you press a button that says so.
What we collect, and only when you ask
- If you request an adviser callback: your name, mobile, email, region, the snapshot of the numbers you just calculated, whether you opted into bank verification, and a consent record — the exact consent wording shown, a timestamp, and your IP address. This goes to one licensed adviser in your region and is never on-sold.
- If you set an expiry reminder: your email and the expiry date only. We send exactly one email, around three months before your rate expires, with your numbers re-run at that day's rates. No newsletter, no other mail, ever.
- If you register as an adviser: your name, company, FSP number, email and region, so we can verify you on the FSP register before discussing terms.
Bank verification (optional)
If you choose to verify your figures, you connect your bank through Akahu using read-only open banking. Access is revocable at any time. We use it to confirm the numbers you gave — we do not store your transactions, and disconnecting removes our access immediately.
Who sees your information
A consumer enquiry goes to exactly one licensed mortgage adviser covering your region, with your explicit consent, and is never resold or shared further. We follow up with you directly a few weeks later to check how it went. That is the only routine sharing that happens.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact our privacy officer below and we'll action it promptly.
